This historic South End looks much like the Back Bay and Beacon Hill in its makeup of brick rowhouses and brownstones. Often regarded for being more of a neighborhood-like setting, the South End offers some of Boston’s most beautiful real estate with parks and squares found throughout. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and preserved by the South End Historical Society and Landmarks Commission, the South End is well preserved as it maintains its historic character.

Today, the South End has become a very popular place to live. Many young professionals, couples and empty nesters have been migrating here since the late 1900’s. Home to many artists in the SoWa District as well as countless restaurants the South End has become one of the hottest neighborhoods to both visit and reside. In more recent years the SoWa District has experienced an increase in popularity with new restaurants, services as well as residential buildings being introduced.
